The checker

When a casting director looks you up, this is what they find. Put a name in and see which of 72 places an actor can be found already have you, and which are still empty.

Private to you. Other members and the public never see this, it lives on your account, and the DOORS team can see it to help you.

Establishment counts the gatekept stuff: badges, unions, directories, awards, festivals. Audience counts the open platforms anyone can build on. Graded on the working-actor scale. This list will keep growing, got a platform to add? Tell us.

Why more than one place matters

Spotlight is one kind of portfolio. Instagram is where people background-check you: how you look, your taste, what you have been working on lately. Vimeo is where a film you made or a tape you are proud of can live. Every platform is another door someone can find you through.

These 72 places split roughly in two: establishments that are gatekept, and places you can join today.

One rule. Information about you is data, and it is your data. A casting notice, or a film you made and want people to watch: share those loudly. Personal details about yourself, your family or other people: think about that carefully.
